The political capital of the United States and the hubbub of world diplomacy, welcome Washington DC, Maryland – the city that breathes history. If you are planning to travel to the United States, try and include Washington DC in your itinerary.
Where to Stay ? Staying in DC will be expensive. You can try staying at places like Baltimore, Edgewood, etc. and travel to DC daily. All adjoining places are pretty well-connected to DC.
Places to see: The places you can’t miss are the White House, the Capitol Hill, the Monument, World War II memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial as landmarks. Keep aside a day to visit the Smithsonian Institution, the world’s largest museum complex including the national zoo. If you have time, then add Baltimore to your itinerary – it’s a beautiful city with a lovely waterfront.
Things to Do: Enjoy the famous Maryland seafood and the specialty cuisine of east coast. Then don’t forget to catch up on the rock band touring the city or dance away to the wee hours in one of the famous discotheques.
